Platform & Professional Disclaimer

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

LocumD facilitates introductions. It does not make professional, clinical, employment, credentialing, contracting or payer decisions for users.

1. Technology Platform Only

LocumD is a healthcare workforce and provider-network matching technology platform. It facilitates discovery, matching, introductions and communications among independent providers, healthcare organizations, authorized in-house teams, payer organizations and other professional participants.

2. Not Medical Advice or Medical Care

Nothing on LocumD constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical supervision or a provider-patient relationship. LocumD does not direct or control clinical judgment or patient care. Clinical services are the sole responsibility of the licensed professionals and healthcare organizations involved.

3. Not Legal, Tax, Employment, Credentialing or Insurance Advice

Information on LocumD is general information only and is not legal, tax, accounting, immigration, employment, credentialing, billing, coding, insurance or regulatory advice. Users should obtain advice from appropriately qualified professionals regarding their circumstances.

4. No Verification or Endorsement Unless Expressly Stated

A profile, match, introduction, search result, page or communication does not constitute endorsement, certification or verification by LocumD. Unless LocumD expressly states in writing that a specific item was verified, users must independently verify identity, qualifications, licensure, sanctions, exclusions, credentials, privileges, references, insurance, work authorization, organizational authority and any other material information.

5. No Employment or Agency Relationship

LocumD does not become an employer, joint employer, professional employer organization, staffing employer, partner, fiduciary or agent merely by facilitating an introduction. Providers and organizations negotiate and enter their own agreements. Worker classification depends on the actual facts and applicable law, not terminology used on a webpage or in an inquiry.

6. No Guarantee of Opportunity, Availability or Results

LocumD does not guarantee that any provider is available, that any opportunity remains open, that a participant will respond, that parties will agree on terms, that credentialing or privileging will be completed, that a provider will be hired or contracted, or that any engagement will achieve a particular operational, financial or clinical result.

7. Geographic and Specialty Pages Are Evergreen

Location, specialty, coverage, executive, facility and payer-network pages describe markets, use cases and matching pathways the platform is designed to support. They are not job advertisements and do not represent that a specific vacancy, facility need, payer opening or provider is currently available unless a separate current listing expressly states otherwise.

8. Payer and Network Disclaimer

LocumD may facilitate introductions between payers and providers interested in network participation. LocumD does not determine network adequacy, perform payer credentialing, guarantee enrollment, set or guarantee reimbursement, negotiate participation terms on behalf of a party, or guarantee that a payer will accept a provider. Final credentialing, enrollment, reimbursement and contracting decisions remain with the payer and provider.

9. Compensation and Commercial Arrangements

LocumD does not set provider compensation or guarantee compensation, payment, collections or reimbursement. Under the current model, LocumD does not take a percentage of provider compensation or add a traditional agency rate markup. Providers and healthcare organizations determine their own compensation and contractual terms, subject to applicable law.

10. Professional and Regulatory Responsibility

Each participant is responsible for compliance with applicable federal, state and local law; professional licensing and scope-of-practice requirements; medical-staff bylaws; credentialing and privileging; fraud-and-abuse rules; tax and worker-classification requirements; employment and immigration law; professional liability coverage; payer rules; and other requirements applicable to the participant or contemplated arrangement.

11. Public Email Is Not for Patient Information

Do not send PHI, patient records, patient identifiers, urgent clinical communications or medical emergencies through LocumD's public website or support email. LocumD's public matching channels are not an emergency service and are not designed for patient care.

12. Third Parties

LocumD is not responsible for statements, omissions, services, websites, systems, acts or failures of independent users or third parties. References or links to third parties are provided for convenience or platform operation and do not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

13. Proprietary Technology

References to LocumD's proprietary technology describe the platform's own technology and methods. They do not constitute a claim that a patent has issued or is pending unless LocumD expressly states otherwise after an applicable filing.

14. Risk Allocation

Your use of LocumD and dealings with other participants are subject to the warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, release provisions and Texas governing-law and forum provisions contained in the Terms of Use, which are incorporated into your use of the Services.
